A Life SO Ordinary

Saturday, Nov. 16, 2002

Last night was the opening night for HP CoS (for those of you not in on the Harry Potter Lingo its Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets). My sis Mel and I, being the little dorks that we are, went to go see it. But i couldnt be the real dork that i wanted to be and see it at the 11:55 am showing ealier in the day. Ah Well whatcha gonna do...

Mel and I had fun though. She invited a friend from school and we all sat in line for the movie like 40 minutes earlier than it started. While in line we were joking around being typical teenagers, but my sis would smack me upside whatever extremity of my body that was closest when i would cuss. She kept on telling me to shut up because little kids are around. OOPS! So now some little kids went home with a little more colorful vocabulary than they started with that day. Oh well...

The actual movie was great although i wanted to see a few scenes that they left out, but hey thats what the DVD's are for right? Back to the movie... It made me laugh and got me all freaked out by some creepy looking stuff like this nasty hand and that grabbed Harry, and then there were the spiders. You see, in the movie Ron (one of Harry Potter's side-kicks) is really terrified of spiders. They had to follow this trail of them into the Forbidden Forrest and lets just say that he was none to happy about that. Then they meet up with this GIANT spider and all of his children of different sizes... not exactly what I would call as a good time for Ron. I did feel for him because i was right there with him cringing. I really hate spiders.

I really like the movie although it did seem a little choppy when going from scene to scene, but hey whatcha gonna do...

I didn't get home from watching HP until 1:15 so I was tired and wanted to sleep in until I had to take Mel to work. Oh no, never could someone sleep in on a Saturday in my house... at around 8:30 Mel and Kahn (step-mom: Connie, which = the wrath of Kahn; get it) get into this whole thing about Mel not doing her chores correctly before she leaves for work. Kahn went in there and was like did you scrub this and this and that, and Mel was like yes yes and yes... Way to stick it to her Mel...
Well I'm off to finish vacuuming our play room; Kahn has spoken...
