I thought that this was appropriate because of the past 2 days that i have had.
On Friday it took me 2 hours to get to the big movie theater, when it should have only taken me 30 minutes, because I got lost!
Then when Mel and I stopped for directions at this gas station in the boonies we had to go pee. We went across to the Waffle House (I really hate Waffle Houses, they are like Denny's to me) to use their bathroom. We should have realized that the bathrooms weren't going to be up to par, but Mel had to go pee.
We both shared the bathroom (hey were sisters! we used to take baths together when we were little!) and when mel went to shut the door there was some gooey stuff on the handle! She freaked out and wiped it off on my sweatshirt!
Anyway the rest of the bathroom was gross so I think Mel learned her lesson about going into, much less using the bathroom in, a Waffle House!
Then on Saturday on the way to the Predators Hockey game I got lost again because I got two buildings mixed up!
But the Predators did win 5 to 4 against the Chicago Blackhawks in overtime!
Sigh... I miss hockey games and the stars! It figures that both times that the Nashville Predators play the Dallas Stars that the games would be inTexas.
Is it too much to ask to divide time between the two games? Do the Dallas Stars not like Tennessee?
Oh and so you know: I have decided to wish some famous people Happy Birthday whenever I close out my journal!
