A Life SO Ordinary Monday, Dec. 16, 2002 Well, i have quite a bit to update about... Both my bro (John) and sis (Lauretta) have arrived safely here in ol' Tennessee... Its been very "normal" for our family seeing as how we only got into maybe 2 big yelling fights. I look at this as progress because when we were younger we had at least 3 of those in a day. Now dont get me wrong my brother and sisters and I love each other; its just that my father yelled alot when we were little so we kinda picked up on it and ran with it from there. My sis Lauretta is so freaking cool. You see I like fruity alcohlic beverages, but seeing as how i lack three years in my life so that i can buy them, I'm screwed. Lauretta on the other hand, being the nice older sis with the 22 year old boyfriend, is willing to get my what I have longed for... hmmm.... sweet bliss. Now by no means am i one of those alcoholic binge drinking teens, i just like it and i can drink responsibly. So there you have it. Although i havent been responsible in the fact that i let Lauretta talk me into "smoking out" with her and boyfriend. The only other time i've done that is 2 thanksgivings ago and i didnt even feel the high... but then i had a steady job already and i wasnt looking for one. You see my dilemma here... so now i have to pray to God that none of my possible job choices decide they need a urine test... Another good thing happened this weekend! I got my hair cut and i dyed it. It looks really good! Better than my last experience with hair dyes. Its a reddish purple color and my hair is shoulder length! I love my life... well except the fact of the problem i just stated. In other news, one of my Melissa's friends, Carrie, may move in with us. She's one of her really good pals from Texas and is having a hard time finding a home. Her father is a fucking idiot and tells her she cant move into her grandma's house with him and his other daughter because, and i quote, "there is no room and we cant afford it". If he couldnt afford her the dumb ass should have kept it in his pants or bought an f'n condom. Also the gov't practically hands out welfare checks so i think her father isnt worth the skin and bones he's made of and she cant live with her mom because her mom beat her and when Carrie fought back her mom kicked her out. Now heres where i have a problem with Carrie living here otherwise i'd welcome her here with an open mind and heart. She has stayed with her now ex-boyfriend and another friend and has gotten kicked out of both of the houses because of 1)sex and drugs and 2)drugs and truency. Now call me crazy but i dont want the police to show up on my parents door step and take the house away and arrests them because she hooks up with a dealer and hides her drugs in our house. As far as I'm concerned shed be on a tight leash. And dont judge me... i feel for this girl... shes having to make tough choices, and its not fair for her, but if i was in her shoes i would be on my best behavior if i was on the good graces of my friends parents... Well enough ranting and raving! Soon the LOTR The Two Towers will be out and i hope that my parents will let me go and see the midnight showing of it in Nashville! I so want to go and see it! |
