A Life SO Ordinary

As it says in the title of this entry there will be SPOILERS to the Book Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in this entry. If you have not read all of the book then i suggest you come back later when you have finished all of it.
Well I got up early (7 am) Saturday morning to go and get my copy of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I was so giddy with excitement when i finally got it! All this waiting and its finally here! I was in pure heaven ... Of course I didnt get to start reading the 870 page book that I've been waiting for, for the last 3 years. No i had to go and do some chores first! ARGH!
Talk about some serious reading withdrawals. As soon as i was done though i went and locked myself in my room happily reading. I did have to catch up on some sleep first, but as soon as i was done I got started again.
I guess people who do not understand the true bliss of reading a really good work of fiction are lost. (Even if it is a children's book). I mean it has stuff in there for us older people as well. The character developement is great. Even for the adults in the book. I mean look at Hagrid, Dumbledore, Sirius, Lupin, and the Dursleys'. Its got stuff for everybody.
Not to mention humor. The Weasley Twins and Ron are always a good laugh. Here's a quote from Fred, George, and their Mom. They just found out the Ron has been made a Prefect and their mom tends to blow it out of proportion just a tad:
"...I don't believe it! Oh, Ron, how wonderful! A prefect! That's everyone in the family!"
"what are Fred and I, next-door neighbors?"
The two things that really bummed me were the fact that Percy (another weasley kid) shunned his family b/c they believed Harry and Dumbledore that Voldemort was back. He told his father that he was a laughing stock and made his mom cry. It's so sad. Also the character that died this time was one of my favorites, Sirius Black. He was Harry's Godfather. The thing that kills me about it was that Melissa was right! She guessed it right from the very beginning. I'm glad i didnt take her up on the bet or I woulda been out of some money.
Ah well. Talk to ya later. I have to go feed my dog and go to work! TTYL!
